The first entry

Hello everyone. My name is Nadir, and through a weird dream i had last night, i have decided to make a blog. I am planing to make the blog a weekly one, talking about my misadventures, along with what I see and hear on television, and on the radio. So, lets start with some background information on my life. I was born in a little country in Dubrovnik, and I used to live in L.A. I absolutely adore food, since my ultimate goal in life is to become a chef! I don't think ill be someone like Gordan Ramsey, cause i don't really like Swearing. I find it abusive, and it hurts peoples feelings. I also like writing a lot, and all my teachers have thought of me as a good one. I think thats enough about me, because i want to have a fun time writing about what happened to me!

So, along with a lot of American kids, i am currently in summer break, and it totally sucks. I mean, I like not having homework and stuff, but i miss all my teachers, and friends, and plus, I have nothing to do! I like, want to go outside and play in the Oregonian sun, but all the neighborhood kids are super conservative, and they can't even leave the block. What sucks is that there is a park super close, and every time i want to go, one of they're parents has to chaperon. I still cant believe that parents can be that protective. I mean, I'm kinda mature, and there are about 7 kids on the block, what could happen to them? So most of my time is spent either on the computer, or cleaning. Isn't my summer fun? But at least in two weeks, i will be going to Cancun, Mexico! Thanks to one of our friends, we get to go for free, and a whole week on the beach sound pretty fun for a guy who's getting pretty pale. I'm not the greatest swimmer, or the most manly dude, but at least my swimming trunks fit, and thats all the matters!

A few days ago, i was listening to the radio, and my mother wanted to listen to the modern songs, which totally didn't rule for me. I like real music, and Madonna's new hit, 4 seconds to save the world, is like it was made by a computer.I mean, there was no real singing, and just artificial instruments. Plus, every other song sound the same, from "bands" like Boys like Girls, to the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I swear, i thought the same singer was in each band! I was so bored that car trip, all i wished for was some really good music, like Pearl Jam, or Hootie and the Blowfish. I recommend listing to "time" by Hootie, because that song touches me, in the most sensitive way. So even if you disagree with my opinions, you should listen to those bands, cause they rule!

My last subject will talk about the T.V shows i saw, which include The Baby Borrowers, and Fear Itself. I really liked the Baby Borrowers. It was a funny show, really showing the true nature of little kids. Personally, i love little kids, since they are so cool, and it was so hilarious seeing people who are about 4 years older than me struggle, when i know I'd be a true shakespeare in that position. What i didn't like was this weeks Fear Itself. I don't want to spoil any things, but for the people who did watch it, a lot of things were super unclear! Like, the 2 uncle dudes, and Carlo's parents. I mean, the previous episodes ruled, but this one was such a total letdown! The only redeeming quality was the twist, which i thought was pretty well done.
